| I was born in Harlem ( i moved to Brooklyn to be close to my kids), I started drawing at the age of six. I really got into it, when my cousin's father gave me his comicbook collection. As i got older, art have become a strong passion of mine, creating stories for my graffiti characters. Then i started buying life drawing books (by George Bridgeman), books on classical artist (Klimt, Mucha, Vargas, Elvgren, Frazetta etc.). When i was in junior high school,I couldnt get into any of those fancey art schools, because of my acedimic scores were'nt high enough. During High school, i did some freelancing gigs here and there. Designing covers for community news magazines, helped do some t-shirts, tattoo designs etc. After high school, i was talked into going to College. I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, well...to make a long story short (besides my exspirence there was fuckin boring anyway), i graduated with a Associates Degree in 95. So here you have it, a little tidbit of yours truly. |
